Magazine Illustration by Philip Street

This was done for the Queen's Alumni Review in Kingston, Ontario, to illustrate the thoughts of a mother as her eldest child went off to university. I used Illustrator 9.0 software to trace over a scanned rough drawing. The applied stroke mimics a brushstroke and allows for some hand-drawn texture to what is a very controlled drawing.
